Examva is operated by Examva Technologies (Private) Limited (“Examva”, “we”, “us”). These terms cover using Examva — creating an account, reading the notes, and buying Pro. By using Examva you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to save your progress and read the notes. Keep your login details private — you’re responsible for activity on your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

Using the notes

Examva’s notes are for your own personal revision. Free-plan note views may be personalised and watermarked to your account; verified Pro note views are supplied without an account watermark, and each Pro PDF shows a small line with your account email and the download date. You may not copy, share, redistribute, resell or publish the notes, or give others access through your account. Doing so may lead to your account being suspended.

Free plan and Pro

• The free plan gives you full access to the first topic in each subject — Biology, Chemistry and Physics — so you can try the notes before you buy.
• Pro is a one-time purchase (currently £29.99) that gives you unlimited access to the notes for 12 months from the date of purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically — you make a new one-time purchase if you want to continue after 12 months. A time-limited launch offer reduces the price only while the offer and reduced total are shown in Examva’s verified checkout. If an eligible Paddle transaction is securely created before the offer ends, that same pending transaction may be resumed at its verified total; no new discounted transaction can be created after the offer ends.

Examva Plus and Examva Pro

Who sells your plan.Examva Plus and Examva Pro are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle takes your payment, sends your receipts, handles any taxes, and handles refunds under Paddle’s refund policy and buyer terms. These terms explain how the plans work on Examva.

What each plan includes.

• Examva Plus: every subject and topic on Examva, online: the notes in Read and Page view, Test Me, flashcards, bookmarks and your own page notes. It does not include printable PDFs.
• Examva Pro: everything in Plus, plus printable topic PDFs, and Pro study features as each one launches. We only list a feature on our plans once it is available.

Prices.Plus is £5.99 a month or £29.99 a year. Pro is £9.99 a month or £44.99 a year. You see the price before you pay, and Paddle shows any taxes and the final total at checkout.

Automatic renewal. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and Paddle charges the payment method you used, until you cancel. Your Billing page always shows your next renewal date and price, and Paddle emails a receipt for every payment. Before each annual renewal we also email you at least 14 days ahead with the date, the price and how to cancel (if a parent or carer pays, we email them as well). You can turn these reminder emails off with the link in them.

Cancel any time. Cancel from the Billing page in your account, or with the link in any Paddle receipt. Cancelling stops future payments. You keep full access until the end of the month or year you have already paid for, and then it ends.

Changing plan. You can move up at any time (from Plus to Pro, or from monthly to annual). You pay the difference straight away for the rest of your current period, and the new plan starts at once. If you move from Pro to Plus, the change takes effect at your next renewal and you keep Pro until then. To move from annual to monthly, cancel your annual plan, keep it until it ends, and then join monthly.

Printable PDFs (Pro).PDF downloads are unlimited under fair use. In the first 14 days after your first Pro payment you can download up to 5 topic PDFs; downloading a topic again doesn’t count. After that there is no fixed limit, but to stop bulk copying we may pause new downloads for the rest of a calendar month if an account downloads an unusually large number. If that happens, contact us and we’ll help. Each PDF shows a small line at the bottom with your account email and the date. PDFs are for your own study: please don’t share, upload or sell them.

Starting straight away. UK law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind about something you buy online. For digital content that starts straight away, that right can end once you have started to download or use it, if you asked for it to start straight away. When you join, you ask for your plan to start straight away. Before your first PDF download on Pro, we also ask you to confirm that you want to start using the downloadable notes now. Refund requests are decided by Paddle under its refund policy, which takes into account what has been downloaded or used. We keep a record of that confirmation and of your downloads so that we can give Paddle accurate information.

If something’s wrong.If something isn’t working or isn’t what you expected, contact us and we’ll help.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle tries again for a short time and you keep access for up to 7 days. If the payment still fails, the plan ends.

Refunds and chargebacks. If a payment is refunded, or reversed by your bank or card company, your access ends straight away and the plan does not renew.

Price changes. If we change a price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies, and it only applies from your next renewal after that. You can cancel before then.

If a parent or carer pays. You can send them a private payment link instead of paying yourself. They pay with their own card and become the customer: Paddle charges them at each renewal and emails them the receipts and the link to cancel, and they can cancel at any time. The plan itself is on your account, and your Billing page shows that a parent or carer pays.

First-year offers. If we offer a discount (for example to members who bought Examva Pro as a one-off payment), it applies to the first payment only. Renewals are at the normal price shown before you join.

If you bought Examva Pro as a one-off payment. Your 12 months of Pro now include every subject and every Pro feature as it launches, at no extra cost. Your purchase does not renew automatically and ends on its original date.

When Mum/Dad pays for the learner

A learner may create one private, expiring Mum/Dad payment link for the exact Pro plan, course, access period and price they selected. Mum/Dad can review and pay without joining the learner’s Examva account. We do not ask the learner to enter Mum/Dad’s email address or phone number.

Payment gives Pro access only to the learner’s existing Examva account. It does not give the payer access to that account, the notes licence, answers, scores, weak topics or study activity. The payer accepts the terms shown on the private payment page and receives Paddle’s payment record and refund route for that order.

Payments and refunds

Examva Plus and Examva Pro are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, receipts and payment-related refunds. Examva provides and licenses the Examva product.

Refunds for Examva Plus and Examva Pro are handled by Paddle under its refund policy (see “Examva Plus and Examva Pro” above). If you bought Examva Pro as a one-off payment, you may request a full refund within 14 days of that purchase. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

If Mum/Dad paid through a private link, the payer can use the support option on the Paddle receipt or the learner can contact Examva with the order reference. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and may end the related Pro access.

Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in Examva, including its notes, illustrations, self-assessment content, PDFs and software, are owned by or licensed to Examva. Buying Pro gives you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the content for private study. It does not transfer copyright or permit sharing, redistribution, resale or publication.

What we provide

We work hard to keep the notes accurate and aligned to the current AQA GCSE specification, and to keep the service available. Examva is a revision aid to support your studies; it doesn’t guarantee any particular exam result, and we provide the service “as is” without warranties beyond those the law requires.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the service — for example by trying to break its security, scrape or bulk-download the notes, or use it in any unlawful way.

Changes

We may update these terms or the service from time to time. If we make a significant change we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know.
